Our dinner guests gather at the Limoneira Main Ranch to board our air-conditioned motorcoach. Then we’re off, driving through the colorful patchwork of strawberry, celery and lavender fields. We pass through the lemon and orange orchards, drinking in the wonderful scent of citrus blossoms. As we climb through the hillside orchards of citrus and avocados, our guests begin to appreciate the view that awaits. As you reach the hilltop orchard dinner site, the Santa Clara Valley spreads below you. In all directions, you find beautiful views of the mountains, colorful valley floor, and the blue Pacific Ocean off in the horizon.
You’ll be escorted to your private dining table nestled among the orchard trees. Sunset bathes the mountains and ocean a rosy peach as you enjoy appetizers and cocktails. Candlelight eventually replaces the sunset, and casts a romantic aura over your table and the surrounding orchard trees. And then dinner is served, under the stars and moon. 2-3 hour event. Transportation to/from site via motorcoach. Guests are encouraged to wear appropriate attire (collared shirts, no shorts) and footwear for orchard paths and gravel (boots, shoes with heels). Winter months (Oct-Feb): Layered clothing is recommended in the winter months. Heat lamps are available, but rarely needed given the warm temperatures.
Reservations: November-March reservations accepted for parties of 25 or more. April-October reservations accepted for a minimum of 2 persons.
