Limoneira Tours is a division of Limoneira Company. Limoneira Company is the sole owner of the information collected on www.limoneiratours.com. We collect user information at several different points on our web site.
Visitors
A visitor may view our web pages without disclosing any personal information. Like most standard web site servers we use log files. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement in the aggregate. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information.
Reservations
To place a reservation, a user must provide contact information (such as name, e-mail, and phone number) This information is used to confirm reservation dates and times and payment method.
Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s computer tied to information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our web site. We use both session ID cookies and persistent cookies. For the session ID cookie, once users close the browser, the cookie simply terminates. A persistent cookie is a small text file stored on the user’s hard drive for an extended period of time. Persistent cookies can be removed by following internet browser help file directions.
If a user elects to reject the cookie, they may still use our site. The only drawback to this is that the user may be limited in some areas of our web site.
Clear Gifs
We implement clear gifs in our HTML-based e-mails to let us know which e-mails have been opened by the recipients. This allows us to gauge the effectiveness of certain communications and the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. A user may elect to opt-out of these e-mails by clicking on the unsubscribe link located on the e-mail.
E-mail Communication
We will use e-mail as the primary means to communicate with you about your orders. In addition, you may receive occasional e-mail communications regarding our site, special offers, and product information. Out of respect for our users privacy we provide a way to opt-out of these communications. To opt-out of our mailing list please use the unsubscribe links in our mailings.

We may need to disclose personal information when required by law, wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order, or legal process served on our web site.
Sharing of Information
We use an outside credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services. This company does not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.
We may send an e-mail communication to you or to a recipient to whom you sent a gift. If you, or your recipient, do not want to receive this communication, please e-mail us at info@limoneiratours.com requesting to be removed from the list.
Notification of Changes
In the event of a change to our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement, the homepage, and other places we deem appropriate so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected. If, however, we are going to use users’ personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection we will notify our users via e-mail. Users will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner. However, if a user has opted out of all communication with this site, or deleted their account, then the user will not be contacted, nor will their personal information be used in this new manner.
